The meeting ‘Career in pharmacy’ was opened with a workshop organized by Abela Pharmentitled “From idea to finished supplement”. At the workshop, students had the opportunity to improve their theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of legislation, development, quality and marketing.
The central event was opened by a welcome speech of Dr. Zorica Vujic, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who stressed on that occasion that it was a unique event in the field of career development of students, held for the first time at the Faculty of Pharmacy. Davor Korčok, B. Pharm, Director General of Abela Pharm said on this occasion: ”I am proud that the company Abela Pharm has had the opportunity to support such a meeting. It is my great pleasure to give a chance to young and ambitious people to recognize the company in which they would like to start their professional career, in accordance with their preferences and knowledge acquired”.
On the second day, in the framework of the exhibition work, professional associates shared their experience gained in the pharmaceutical industry with students and gave them the opportunity to apply for internship at Abela Pharm.
The two-day event was visited by more than 500 students, professors and representatives of institutions, associations and pharmaceutical companies.
